DESCRIPTION:2-week psychoeducational group for parents/caregivers of children ages 0-17 living in Peel Region. \nWednesdays\nJan 14\, 2026 – Jan 11\, 2026\, 10:00am – 12:00pm \nThis two-session group will provide parents/caregivers with an opportunity to educate themselves on the following topics: \n\nWhat is anxiety?\nWhat does anxiety look like?\nAvoidance\nCognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)\nTools for communication\n\nParents will also discuss helpful and unhelpful parenting strategies for anxious children\, relaxation strategies and the principles of exposure.
