DESCRIPTION:4-week group for parents of children and youth ages 8-18 living in Peel Region. \nFridays \nApr 10\, 2026 – May 1\, 2026\, 9:30am-12:30pm \nThis workshop understands the important role caregivers play in their youth’s life and teaches Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to caregivers\, providing them with effective strategies that they can use to support their youth manage strong emotions. It gives parents/caregivers of children and youth aged 8 to 18 years the chance to learn and practice new caregiving skills. These workshops are led by highly skilled clinicians and gives caregivers the opportunity to ask questions and get support working through particular challenges they may be experiencing at home.
