Groups for Children and Youth

EveryMind offers in-person and virtual groups on a wide-variety of topics for children and youth throughout the year. These groups are designed to give youth a space to discussion topics that are relevant to them and foster opportunities for youth to share their opinions with other youth and build connections.

2026 Groups

Girls’ Circle

Learn about healthy relationships, how to handle conflicts, and how to self love! For ages 14-17. Each cycle of the group has 8 sessions.

Mondays (In-person at 85A Aventura Court, Mississauga)

Mother-Daughter Circle

For girls and their moms to strengthen their relationship by learning how to communicate and problem solve together. For ages 11-13. Each cycle of the group has 8 sessions.

Wednesdays (In-person at 85A Aventura Court, Mississauga)

Go Girls (For ages 11-13)

This program will provide female identifying youth an opportunity to come together to explore positive self image, peer relationships and personal growth.

Sep 15 – Nov 3, 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Boys Council 

This program will provide male identifying youth an opportunity to come together to challenge myths and question stereotypes regarding emotions and social expectations.

The summer option is for ages 9-12 and the fall one for ages 13-16.

Sibshops 

This is a fun event just for brothers and sisters of children with developmental, health or mental health concerns. They will meet other siblings of children with support needs; have fun; talk to others who “get it”; support each other and have their time to shine! For ages 9-12.

Camp Cope-a-lot

This is an exciting group that explores stress and anxiety for children ages 9 to 12 through a virtual camp that will have campers participating in a talent show, visiting an amusement park, and speaking in public, all from the comfort of home while learning skills for life! This group has 12 sessions.

Mondays (Virtual via Zoom)
Sep 14 – Dec 7, 4:30pm – 5:30pm (No session on Thanksgiving, Oct 12)
